The Hardwire 3-Pin CRB (Complete Release Binding) is the ultimate choice in a backcountry telemark binding. It has everything you want in a backcountry touring binding. It has release, control, and a free heel for uphill touring freedom.
The 3-pin and bail toe box is adjustable to provide the best boot/binding fit and performance of any telemark binding available. Lateral control and the best on-snow performance are accomplished with the tempered steel Hardwire connecting rods and active pivot point.
The Hardwire 3-pin heel assembly can be locked at the heel pad for no heel resistence uphill ski touring. You will be amazed at the difference in ski touring without a heel assembly attached to your boot. More importantly it is a redundant system for extended backcountry touring.
Our new V-tech riser platform provides a reliable release, retention and makes it much easier to get back into the release unit after an on-snow release. The Voile Release Binding is the only telemark release binding that will release in a backward fall. The backward fall is typically how most knee injuries are sustained. It is also recommended equipment for skiing in avalanche prone terrian. Having a release system increases the chance of separation of you and your skis, thus helping to prevent injury and deep burial if caught in an avalanche.
