Volkl T Rock Telemark / AT Ski: Product Review
What the TelemarkSki staff thinks... What the manufacturer's Marketing Dept. thinks... What independent testers think...
Summary: This stable all-around ski is wide enough to float in the soft stuff, but can hold an edge on firm snow too.

The T-Rock is an excellent all-arounder that can do it all. A wood core ski with that classic Volkl feel - damp and solid underfoot, yet absolutely capable of shorter, quicker turns too. The T-Rock is a great choice for the skier who wants only one ski that can ski anywhere - and in all types of snow.
Developed specifically for the North American market, the T- Rock is Völkl's first telemark-specific model. Völkl's Sensorwood Core gives the T-Rock the confidence to go anywhere. The 87mm waist provides great float for those soft days and there is enough sidecut to carve the groomed, too.

-7.3lbs/pair @ 172cm

-sidecut: 119-87-111 @ all sizes: 164, 172, 180

Backcountry Magazine: "Lively, but fairly damp, better at medium and long radius turns, the T Rock got high marks for hardpack."

Powder Magazine:
"With 87m underfoot and a wide shovel, the T Rock is floaty while maintaining efficient carviness. An exceptional all-around ski, this wood-cored beauty is ideal for dancing among the aspens and hauling a** in the open bowls."

Couloir: "The T-Rock skied with a softer, playful feel instead of the company's trademark "A-to-B speed and efficiency," making it a good fat ski for skiers with a preference for softer skis."
