| Summary: The T-Roll is Volk's new every-day ski. In a quiver of ten, this is the ski you'd ski 9 days out of 10 (unless it's the epic year we're all dreaming about!). Stable, responsive, versatile - theT-Roll is the go-anywhere, all-arounder you want on a typical day at the resort. |
Our most versatile ski for all snow conditions, Volkl introducs the T Roll, with a sidecut of 125-82-110mm, a full Sensorwood core, and a construction called Double Grip XT. A special laminate of spring steel sandwiched between two fiberglass layers is there for added stability. With enough float to tackle a powder day, and the right shape to rip the groomed or even ski some bumps, the T Roll is a great all-day resort ride.

Backcountry magazine: "Even though last year's AC-T was well received, Volkl thought it needed to make a 'more relevant' all-conditons ski with a wider footprint. And with a mind toward line-name coherency, it calls the 82mm-waisted ski the T-Roll. And indeed, it put almost all skiers on a roll, down and through everything but the deepest powder. 'Cranks with authority on most conditions, surfaces'... 'Stable and quick at all speeds. Made me a high roller'... 'Although they don't float like fatties, powder and crud are no problem. The T-Rolls are the 'brown shoes' of the ski world: They are the sensible skis we all should want, but not the sexy skis we dream about. They aren't the skis you want on an epic day - they are the skis you need every day.'"
