Backcountry Magazine: "It's
about time one of the major alpine boot manufacturers made
a bona fide leap into the world of AT. Tecnica's freshman
AT Agent makes a great debut; a light ergonomic soldier that
has all the necessary weaponry - except Dynafit compatibility.
A traditional alpine overlap design and thermo moldable liner
work well for this boot. They're easy to slip on; the walk
mode is one of the best I've ever experienced; and hiking
in them, I felt more like I was in a mountaineering boot.
The three-buckle design features a forefoot buckle that attaches
to two points: one for hiking comfort and one for skiing
performance. The Agent's forward flex is consistent, a blast
to ski, and I very much enjoyed the relationship of my shin
and calf to the upper cuff. While it might get a little overrun
inbounds, it's ergonomics and comfort will not go unnoticed
in ever-changing back-country conditions..." |
