Scarpa Women's T3 Telemark Boot: Product Review
What the TelemarkSki staff thinks... What the manufacturer's Marketing Dept. thinks... What independent testers think...
Summary - The T3 is built for long tours and skiing in gentle terrain. This is an extremely lightweight boot that can turn 'em too.

The Women's T3 incorporates all the same features as the men's boot in a women's specific last. Recent improvements include: thermal moldable liners, increased torsional rigidity with a dual-injection torsion beam, asymmetrical bellows which gives the boot a natural flex and eliminates toe pinch, and a "double lock" lean lever that allows you to lock the cuff forward or backward.

We recommend this boot if you spend most of your time on long tours and and ski on boards with a waist of 70mm or less. Anything more is just too much for the T3. Like other Scarpa boots, the Women's T3 fits a narrow to medium width foot best.
Built on a women's-specific last, the Scarpa Womens T3 fits women's feet like a second skin. Sharing all the features of the Men's T3, this is the boot for women who prefer hiking for their turns. It's lightweight, sports custom-moldable liners with power straps and new micro-adjust buckles for a precise, comfy fit. The Women's T3 is also high on the performance quotient with a removable spoiler for support and a torsion beam for perfect power transfer. Great boot, great fit, great performance = the Women's T3.

-Built on a women's-specific last for a cozy fit

-Custom-moldable liner, micro-adjust buckles, removable spoiler

-Lightweight boot for gals who spend their days hiking for turns
Couloir: "Made for backcountry aficionados, the T3 is everything the T2 is.and less. That is, one less buckle, less cuff height, less stiff, and most importantly, less weight. In bumps, 50 degree couloirs, icy slopes, and breakable crusty muck, these boots deliver less control, unless you've been weaned on leather. If you find boots in the T2 category are simply too much boot for uphill skinning, however, the T3 is the answer.enough power for edging, and a softer boot for use where it's intended - skinning uphill for freshies."

Backcountry magazine: "Add all of T2's upgrades to this year's T3 and you've got a high performing tele-touring boot. Originally aimed at the leather-convert, the high-end performance of the T3 easily keeps up with the best of the traditional leather boots on any distance tour."
