Summary - The nx11 combines step-in, alpine
style performance with a "virtual pivot" toe that allows a
more natural stride while touring. They are equally at home
off the back side of the ski area and on big, all-day tours.
The Naxo binding was extremely popular in its first year.
The dual pivot toe really does provide a more natural, ergonomic
stride and the release mechanism is solid. All-in-all, these
bindings are pretty "bomber". We did see a few durability
issues, but they usually arose from area skiers taking these
bindings into the terrain park - NOT what they were designed
to do! The Naxo is great cross-over area binding, but won't
hold up to huge airs or full-on ski area hammering. If you
want a binding that's capable of skiing at the area, but can
also get you to distant powder fields and big lines, the Naxo
is a great choice. |
Naxo's burly, downhill-inspired toe and heel and triple pivot system combine to make them the highest performance A.T. bindings available. Can be used with both A.T. and downhill boots. Ride them hard inside or outside the boundary.
The Naxo nx11 is designed for Intermediate AT skiers with a maximum DIN of 12 for medium and large sizes. Weighs in at 5lbs, 6oz per pair (with brakes).
