Summary - Work still stinks, but not just
on powder days! This redesigned ski has an increased sidecut
and stiffer flex for '05-'06.
The 88mm wasit offers plenty of surface fo float you in
powder, but the new shape and flex provides much more stability
and control on groomed slopes and firm snow. Skis continue to
get wider - and the Work Stinx is now an "all-mountain" ski,
particularly for skiers who spend most of their time off-piste
or who live in areas that get lots of snow.

The Work Stinx will definitely challenge
your dedication to your job. Thanks to a deeper sidecut and
two sheets of metal, what used to be a powder ski that was comfortable
on groomers, is now a super versatile powder hound that absolutely
lights up the groomers. You won't find a condition that the
new Work Stinx won't tame. But don't trust us - take a sick
day and try them out for yourself.

Backcountry magazine: "Employers
beware: the new Work rocks- it was a hit with most testers,
who liked its damp, flowing feel and its ability to handle
a variety of turn shapes and snow conditions...The old woody
now has two layers of metal in its layup to improve hard-snow
hold, along with K2's new progressive sidecut for better
crud capability."
Couloir magazine: "Work may stink, but the Work Stinx is still the work horse of the K2 line, the do-everything ski that will never let you down. Its large sweet spot forgave and forgot turn indiscretions, and even tired legs kept up rhythmic turns at the end of the day. The solid output came at the price of extra weight for die-hard touring testers who said, 'Easy to ski but not easily pushed around"...'Loves to turn and go fast. Confident in all types of terrain'..."
Powder magazine: "Instead of being a powder ski
with limited edge control, the new Stinx has a deeper sidecut
and two sheets of metal, giving you a resort ski that devours
all conditions."
Skiing magazine:
"A perennial favorite, K2's Work Stinx benefits this year from a deeper sidecut that helps it lay waste to groomed snow without compromising its abilities in the deep. Crazy versatile, this ski rarely takes a day off. Testers agreed that the Work washes out at high speeds."
