Summary - This super fatty offers maximum
float in the deep stuff. As the name implies, the Anti Piste
isn't designed for groomers or firm snow. Get it out in the
powder though and it absolutely rips!

Inspired by the classic woody surf wagons of
the 60's, the Anti-Piste is a snow surfers dream. With a 98mm
wasit, you expect soft snow dominance and you won't be dissappointed.
What's surprising is how much performance you'll get on the
groomers as you go from one powder stash to the next.
20% hard snow / 80% soft snow
Mini-mod, XCP, 2x inserts |
Backcountry magazine: "Don't
get caught asleep at the wheel on the Anti Piste,"
one tester said. "These are like a race horse let loose
in the wild. If you can manage the ride, you'll have a blast.
"..."A hard charging ski not for the faint of
heart or thigh. Not a tight woods noodler."
Powder magazine: "Though it's intended primarily
for soft snow, you'll still feel a bit of carve on hardpack
thanks to an XCP tip."
Couloir magazine: "A speed freak of powder proportions, the Anti Piste destroyed the mountain. The heaviest ski of the test, the Anti Piste translated its mass into pure downhill momentum...Defying the notion that Super-Fat skis are powder boards only, the stout flex of the Anti Piste actually challenged a couple testers to keep the tips afloat in lighter snow, but they recognized that as the trade-off for all-mountain performance, firm edgehold, and take-no-prisoners descending."
