| Garmont She Ride Women's
Alpine Touring Boot: Product Review |

Summary - The Garmont She Ride is
a great choice for women who ski big lines with big skis all
day long, or for women who'd like a AT compatible boot they
can also use as an alpine resort boot.
The new women's specific G-fit liner is extremely warm and
comfortable and addresses a woman's narrower (usually) foot
and heel. A tad bit heavier than the women's Mega Ride, the
Garmont She Ride is not Dynafit compatible. If long tours
on lightweight gear is your thing, go with the Mega-Ride/Dynafit
combo instead. |
The She-Ride is built specifically for women on the G-Ride platform. It's the beefiest women's ski mountaineering boot available, developed for female ski-mountaineers whose priority is skiing performance. Like the G-Ride, it is built to drive the biggest skis in the most difficult conditions. It is high and stiff enough to rip difficult off-piste, light enough for extended ski mountaineering. The She-Ride has new, lightweight, positive Freeride buckles. Its Magnesium canting mechanism is precise and easy to adjust.

Skiing magazine:
"Like the men's G-Rides, the She-Rides are a bit stiffer and heavier than Garmont's do-it-all Mega Rides. But because they're not Dynafit-compatible--and have slightly less plush liners--they're cheaper."
Backcountry magazine: "With
a snug all-around fit for narrower female feet, the slim
thermofit liner in Garmont's She Ride G-fit gave a good
feel for the snow and provided the best control of all the
boots tested, in all terrain and snow conditions."
