Summary: For intermediate to advanced
women skiers, the Siren is the softest flexing ski available
from G3. Excellent in soft snow and powder conditions!
The G3 Siren makes a great backcountry ski for either tele
or AT.
The deeper sidecut of this ski makes it easy turning; a great choice for the
girls who like to check their speed by making lots of turns. More aggressive
women skiers might consider the Baron instead. |
A fat ski developed exclusively for women,
the Siren calls out for women who rip.
Its ample dimensions promote float and stability, while its shape responds enthusiastically
to lighter skiers' feel and finesse. This is not a man's ski with a girly graphic
slapped on the topsheet. The Siren is a smooth, snappy board built for experienced
alpine touring or telemarking women who leave the boys in their wake.

Backcountry magazine: "Our
testers found the combination of a rich, calming dampness
in fast, long radius turns and a spicy snap for zipping
in and out of shorter turns."..."The even flex
with a little extra in the tail lets the ski flow super
smoothly."
Couloir magazine: "True to its name, even the toughest and most heroic skiers will find something unmistakably alluring in the G3's largest women's ski. The Siren's big, soft shovel kept all afloat and free from rocky shores of barely covered shark's teeth. The tip was 'hard to control' for some when planing in crud, but the Siren scored best in dynamic turns, both in powder and on firm. By all means a women's soft-snow pleaser, the Siren sang out in the fluff. Looking to farm endless rows of powder turns, our dedicated tourers were well served by the Siren's light agility - a perfect fit for backcountry powder days."
AT: "The AT posse echoed the strong sentiments of the Siren's status as 'a worthy ski for powder days and corn,' and its enthusiasm for quick, short turns."
Powder magazine: "If you're a lighter skier, but know how to work your finesse, heed the call of the Siren. The women's specific design promotes flotation and stability. The Sirens are smooth, snappy boards that make a great alpine touring or telemark setup."
Skiing magazine: "At 88mm underfoot, the SIren appealed even more as a one-ski quiver board than a big-mountain ski. Still, our testers liked how it floated in deep snow. Stiff and snappy on the groomed.
Gripes: Chattered on long turns at high speeds.
Props:Quick and effective in short-radius turns."
