Dynafit FT 10.0 Carbon AT / Randonnee Ski: Product Review
What the TelemarkSki staff thinks... What the manufacturer's Marketing Dept. thinks... What independent testers think...
Summary: A wide platform and solid carbon fiber construction lend to this big board's ability to rip big turns and tear up powder as well as any less-desirable conditions you may enounter along the way. Early in its first season of availability, this ski is proving to be a top pick amongst skier who want a beefier yet light AT setup.
Utilizing Austrian engineering and know-how, Dynafit is putting carbon fiber where it counts. The result is the Freeride 10.0. A ski almost 2 pounds lighter than it's competition that skis with rock solid torsional stiffness for the all around big mountain backcountry ski. The smooth, round flex is ideal for skiing anywhere on any snow.

The new '06-'07 graphics will not allow this ski to hide its hero status any longer. Made in Innsbruck, Austria.

Couloir magazine: "Nearly unanimous proclaiming it an AT top dog, our testers raved about its nice combo of lightness and stability-tracks well while busting crud, quiet and damp. Everyone from our most aggressive tester to our smallest called them crudbusters capable on consistently arcing turns, even at race pace. Witht he FR 10.0, Dynafit not only holds on to its reputation for lightweight backcountry climbers that eat up the skintrack, but they succeed in producing a ski worthy of its freeride moniker."
