| Summary: New for '05-'06, the Dynafit Aero Freeride is Dynafit's first 4-buckle boot, designed for aggressive skiers on big boards. These boots feature a stiff forward flex, Thermo-flex heat-moldable liners, and the new Dynafit Step-In fitting that makes clicking in easier by guiding the toe holes to the binding toe pins. |
The Aero Freeride is Dynafit's performance

with the subtle design features that make Dynafit boots ideal
for all day ski touring comfort. With a wrap around high cuff,

will drive the fattest skis, while still remaining the lightest
boot in it's class.
-Stiff forward flex tongue and wrap around cuff
-Height adjustable rear spoiler for power or comfort
-4 CNC machined buckles for strength and reliability
-New Step-In fitting will dramatically ease the simplicity

Skiing magazine:
The Aero is described as "incredibly responsive and built like a bunker". They're "lighter than other four-buckle boots. The heat-moldable liners have a Velcro strap to eliminate movement when touring with the buckles loosened. They're also Dynafit-binding compatible."
Backcountry magazine: "Tall, stiff and amply buckled,
this isn't your grandpa's Dynafit...stands shoulder to shoulder
with other 4-bucklers...the new step-ins added noticeable
convenience and speed...a welcome addition to the Dynafit
line, but with slightly more weight for its class."
Couloir: "Across the Dynafit line this year,
the least visible, and yet most important, improvement comes
in the sockets that accept the binding pins of the Dynafit
binding system. ... The seemingly minor modifications -
unique to Dynafit's line of boots - greatly improve the
user-friendlieness of the binding and make the systems about
as "step-in" as possible."
